Photographik.org was founded in 2004 and set to become the immanent resource for finding the best wedding and portrait photographers in the world. As photographers continued finding photographik it seemed only natural to up the incentive a bit... The goal was established as becoming the FaceBook of photographers while elegantly showing photographer individual works.

We developed a new look and feel with extensive search enhancements to allow for scalable community interaction. The "member's area" was an entirely separate concept. Members not only manage their own profiles and listing types, but can generate endless "Blurbits" - photographik's signature version of a blog. Members can also manage their billing settings by establishing monthly or annual payment schedules, participate in forums, create endless profiles and listings, all managed by one username!

The end result has been daily member growth as well as a fair amount of compliments on the new site from the members themselves... it feels good when your client's clients compliment the work!
